Mr. Onajite Okoloko is a Nigerian entrepreneur with extensive experience in the oil and gas and industrial sectors. He is the founder and former Chairman of Midwestern Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited and Eroton Exploration & Production. Midwestern is Nigeria’s largest marginal oil field producer, while Eroton owns and operates over 1,035 square kilometers of oil mining lease area in the Niger Delta, with an estimated 500 million barrels of 2P reserves and over 5 trillion cubic feet of gas.
He is also the founder and pioneer Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Notore Chemical Industries, where he served from January 2006 to January 2021. Notore is an agro-allied chemicals and infrastructure company and the premier producer of urea fertilizer in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is one of the founding partners of the Oando Plc Group, where he played a pivotal role in the transformation of Oando from a petroleum marketing company to an integrated energy group.
Mr. Okoloko is an active member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and has served on several national policy and advisory bodies. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Benin (1986) and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. In 2011, he was named the inaugural winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Emerging Entrepreneur Category, West Africa).
